This set of pictures is quite special for me. It was the first time I moved alone to Canterbury back in 2015. For me it was quite an empowering but also frightening chapter in my life. Having to adapt to a new way of lifestyle, work and a new school and circle of people, was something that my brain wasn’t too keen on to process it. I wanted to stop time so I didn’t have to be so anxious. So I brought my film camera and started capturing random moments on my way to my new home. They aren’t much and they don’t tie together but, it’s sort of different vibes I had that made me decide to take some pictures.
